Today (Jan. 16) is National Fig Newton Day. Learn all about Fig Newtons here. For instance, did you know that the cookie is named for the town of Newton, Massachusetts? I’ve been in Newton lots of times and never knew that. Had I known, I might have been tempted to stand on one leg and sing like Big Fig while I was there.
