National Battery Day is today (Feb 18.), and I dare you to watch this classic Eveready commercial from 1977 in which Robert Conrad dares you to knock a battery off his shoulder.
Oh, he’s a badass, all right, with his punching bag and his aggressive eye contact, and the way he refers to batteries as a “power system” while wielding a heavy calculator and cassette player.
